Jaipur: Playing true to their seedings, Sameer Verma of Madhya Pradesh and Rohit C Yadav of Andhra Pradesh won their respective matches reach the final of the boy`s under-19 category of the National Junior Badminton championship.
In the thrilling semifinal matches played at the Sawai Man Singh Indoor stadium, the top seed Sameer Verma got the better of K Srikanth of Andhra Pradesh 23-21 21-11, while the second seed Rohit C Yadav outplayed 8th seed Abhishek Yeligar of Karnataka 21-10 21-16.
In the girls section, U-19 category, Salili Rane of Air India beat compatriot Arathi Sara Sunil 21-15 21-16.
In the second semifinal, 2nd seed Tanvi Lad of Air India got the better of Rituparna Das of West Bengal 21-16 21-16.
