Rs 21.79 cr for development of villages of Haryana medalists
The Haryana Government has
released Rs 21.79 crore for development of 92 villages of the
medal winners and the participants in the recent Commonwealth
and Asian Games.

Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has
released Rs 21.79 crore for development of 92 villages of the
medal winners and the participants in the recent Commonwealth
and Asian Games.
The villages of gold medal winners were being given Rs
51 lakh each, those of silver medal winners would get Rs 31
lakh each and the villages of bronze medal winners would be
given Rs 21 lakh each to carry out developmental works, an
official spokesman said here today.
He said Rs 11 lakh each would be given to the villages of
participants of these international events. Out of these 92
villages, 47 villages were of participants in these Games.
