Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar today pledged his support to Kabaddi and said he was amazed to see the agility and speed of the players on the inaugural day of the Kabbadi league.

Mumbai: Batting legend Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday pledged his support to Kabaddi and said he was amazed to see the agility and speed of the players on the inaugural day of the Kabbadi league.

Tendulkar was invited by Jaipur franchise owner and Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan and came with his wife Anjali and daughter Sara on the first day of Pro Kabaddi. "I am here to support the sport. Couple of days ago, Abhishek called me and said we are having this Kabbadi league match and this is the first game and why don`t you come here, so I am here. This is just incredible to see the agility there, the speed, the awareness, it is extremely important and I have played this sport in school. It has been fantastic to come back again and support the sport," Tendulkar said. The entire Bachchan family was present along with Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. "It is very exciting to watch the game. I used to play in my childhood and I am seeing it after a long time and enjoying it. It is an amazing game and it is totally Indian," Aamir said.
