New Delhi: According to a report in the Times of India, National Rifle Association of India's Athletes Commission on Monday met in the national capital to hear complaints against coach Stanislav Lapidus.
First complaint was filed by rifle shooter Anjali Bhagwat and the second by six shooters, including Anjali, against the Kazakh.
However, the commission could not take up the complaint regarding sexual harassment charges on Lapidus' as the set up of the commission was not in line with Vishakha guidelines.
Four-member team comprising of senior shooter Samaresh Jung and former shooters Ashok Mittal and Vikram Bhatnager recorded the statements of Anjali and Suma.
"We heard both the shooters out and recorded their statements. They had some grievances which were shared in front of the commission today.
We have in fact decided the future course of action based on the statements. We will now file a preliminary report within two days and submit it to the NRAI. It will be up to them if they want to go by our recommendation or take some action on their own," Moraad Ali Khan Khan, who heads the commission was quoted as saying by TOI.
