Germany`s world champion Severin Freund stretched his lead in the World Cup ski jumping standings with victory on Oslo`s legendary Holmenkollen on Saturday.

Oslo: Germany`s world champion Severin Freund stretched his lead in the World Cup ski jumping standings with victory on Oslo`s legendary Holmenkollen on Saturday.

Freund notched up his eighth win of the season to move 54 points clear of Slovenia`s Peter Prevc, who took second by a mere .3 points.

Completing the Oslo podium was Norway`s Rune Velta.

The season continues in Oslo on Sunday.
