Kolkata: Jayanta Talukdar and Bombayla Devi Laishram went down to their Chinese opponents and settled for a silver medal in the recurve mixed pair event of the Archery World Cup Stage III in Antalya, Turkey on Sunday.
According to information received here, the duo had come back to level the second end 2-2, but the second seeded Chinese pair of Yuting Fang and Gang Wang fired in three perfect 10s to take a 4-2 lead before wrapping it up 5-3.
India thus concluded their campaign with two silver and one bronze, once again failing to bag a yellow metal in yet another forgettable outing for the archers this season.
