Tanvi, Mundra and Sanyogita reach main draw of Indian Open

Hyderabad: Indian shuttlers Mundra Dahinje,
Tanvi Lad and Sanyogita Ghorpade entered the main draw of the
women`s singles of the Indian Open Grand Prix after
registering straight-game victories here today.

Mundra Dahinje beat Sujana Shrestha 21-6 21-10 in 17
minutes in the first round, before getting past compatriot
Jaqueline Rose Kunnath 21-14, 21-3 here.

Sanyogita Ghorpade defeated Bangladesh`s Aktar Shapla
21-17 21-4 to start the proceedings. In the second round she
beat another Bangla player Dulali Hulder 21-6, 21-14 to reach
the main draw.

Tanvi Lad, who got a bye in the first qualifying round,
meted out a 21-4, 21-4 spanking to Rozina Akter in 14 minutes
to make the cut.
