Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows taken to hospital

Calgary, Canada: Vancouver Canucks forward Alex Burrows will miss Tuesday`s game four of the first round playoff series against Calgary after suffering an injury during the team`s practice earlier in the day.

The Canucks declined to provide details of the injury and would only say it was not serious.

Burrow`s hospital visit comes less than 24 hours after the National Hockey League`s disciplinary officials decided not to suspend the veteran forward for instigating a fight with Flames defenceman Kris Russell near the end of Sunday`s game three.
