New Delhi: Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag has been shattered ever since a terror attack claimed the lives of 18 soldiers in Uri town of Jammu and Kashmir region.

The explosive opener, who has been frequently posting tweets related to the ghastly attack, once again took to Twitter on Wednesday where he shared his idea of spreading peace.

Viru said that instead of anger and hatred, one should spread smile and love and throw flowers instead of bombs.

Sehwag followed it with another tweet where he said:

In one of the deadliest attacks on the Army in recent years, 18 jawans were killed while several others were injured as heavily armed militants stormed a battalion headquarters of the force in North Kashmir's Uri town during wee hours on Sunday.

The death toll increased to 18 as another soldier succumbed to his injuries on Monday. Four terrorists were killed by the Army in the ensuing encounter.
