London: Paris Jackson, the daughter of `King of Pop` Michael Jackson went for her first ever hair-cut and each strand of her cut hair was swept up and taken away to avoid DNA testing.The paternity of the 11-year-old is still a highly contended issue, with many including Jackson`s dermatologist Arnold Klein and former child star Mark Lester claiming that their sperm was used for the conception.

The bizarre move was planned as a precaution against potential hair thieves, who could use the sample to carry out DNA tests, reported Daily Mail online. Local TV reporter Alicia Jacobs, who was sitting in the next chair, overheard security being told to sweep up all of Paris` hair and put it in a plastic bag. "Can you imagine the value of Paris`s hair? DNA, the truth, finally," she said. But Paris looked unfazed by the hoopla as she indulged in some retail therapy with grandmother Katherine Jackson, who has custody of the pop icon`s three children.
