New Delhi: India's Goodwill Ambassador for the ongoing Olympic Games - Sachin Tendulkar - is currently in Rio cheering our athletes.
Apart from meeting and encouraging Indian athletes at the venue, the master blaster has been using social media effectively to engage fellow citizens.
On Wednesday however, the former India captain goofed up when he tweeted about Kidambi Srikanth.
The Indian shuttler went down fighting against Chinese legend Lin Dan in a pulsating contest.
Like most Indian sport fans, Tendulkar too lauded Srikanth for his gallant performance.
Only problem, he got his facts wrong. Interestingly, it was fellow Goodwill Ambassador Abhinav Bindra who took it upon him to inform the master about his error.
