9: 00 AM IST: As expected, Swimming sensation Michael Phelps has bagged his 19th Gold Medal taking his overall tally to 23. The USA won the men's 4x100M freestyle relay with a time of 3:09:92.

2:00 AM IST: MEDAL UPDATE! Judo world champion Majlinda Kelmendi won Kosovo`s first ever gold medal in the country`s maiden Olympics. She defeated Italy`s Odette Giuffrida by yuko in the final of women`s 52kg category.

11:55 PM IST: Women's Archery Team quarters. Bombayla hits a ten, then another ten from Laxmirani Majhi and 9 from Deepika Kumari. Russians panicked, and India won the second set by a point 53 to 52.
