Rio de Janeiro: In a ceremony that is expected to last over four hours, Rio Olympics 2016 is all set to kick off with a bang.

Considering the fact that the country is facing financial crisis, the creators of the event are said to have spent 10 percent of what London spent on their opening ceremony in 2012.

The event is said to go for over four hours which will include plenty of action. The IST timing of the event is 04:30 am, Friday morning.
