Beleaguered R ‘n’ B star Chris Brown has said that the lawsuit for assault filed against him by a photographer is “frivolous”, and aimed at obtaining a big payout.

London, May 29: Beleaguered R ‘n’ B star Chris Brown has said that the lawsuit for assault filed against him by a photographer is “frivolous”, and aimed at obtaining a big payout. The ‘Kiss Kiss’ singer has been sued by photographer Robert Rosen, who alleges that he was attacked by Brown`s bodyguards in March when he attempted to take pictures of the star in a Los Angeles gym.
Rosen claims that he fell down a flight of stairs while Brown`s bodyguards were chasing him. He is suing for damages on charges of assault, battery and false imprisonment. Brown`s lawyer Mark Geragos, however, insists that Rosen’s claims are baseless. "This is a specious and frivolous lawsuit by one of the paparazzi seeking publicity and a payday," a news paper quoted him as saying. The pictures were clicked just weeks after Brown was arrested for reportedly beating girlfriend Rihanna during a fight on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February. ANI
