Boxer Mayweather biggest grosser, Woods third on list
Tiger Woods fell to third in the list of the 100 highest-paid athletes released by Forbes magazine, trailing boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.

Washington: Tiger Woods fell to third in the list of the 100 highest-paid athletes released by Forbes magazine, trailing boxers Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
The former number one golfer, who had topped the Forbes list since 2001, made USD59.4 million last year, USD16 million less from the previous year and by half since his peak in 2009, according to reports.
China`s tennis star Li Na, alongside with Russia`s Maria Sharapova, was one of the only two women having cracked the list.
Sharapova was 26th at USD27.9 million, and Li was 81st overall at USD18.4 million.
Mayweather, earning USD85 million off two fights last year, topped the list, while Pacquiao was second on the list with USD62 million from earnings and endorsements.
