Boxer surprises girlfriend with Wembley marriage proposal

London: English middleweight boxer Darren Barker has surprised his girlfriend with a marriage proposal which he had displayed on the scoreboard during a Valentine’s week photoshoot at Wembley Stadium.

Barker said that his girlfriend, Gemma Kao, who was in the dark about his plans, was hesitant about coming to the stadium, but was persuaded to go along with the boxer, The Sun reports. Barker said that he was lucky that Kao accepted the proposal. ANI
