Washington: Two-time boxing champion Andre Berto has reportedly revealed that the former world heavyweight champion Muhammed Ali is a huge basketball fan.
Berto, who had been invited over to the boxing legend`s home by a mutual friend this past weekend, said that it was one of the greatest days of his entire life.
According to TMZ.com, Berto said that the highlight of his two-hour hangout at Ali`s Arizona residence was when they all gathered in front of the TV to watch the Final 4 championship games.
The boxer said that Ali and his family are `big time` college basketball fans and they were cheering `left and right` for Kentucky.
Berto also said that meeting Ali, who hails from the Bluegrass State, is definitely one of the greatest moment in his boxing life, as he felt and saw the boxing legend`s hands, feeling that history.
Berto said that he feels that he got some of the good energy Ali has, adding that he told the champion boxer that he was honored to meet him.
Berto also said that he told Ali that he appreciates him for giving him the inspiration and motivation to be a boxer.
During his two-hour hang out at the boxing legends home, Berto said that he got all sorts of pearls of wisdom about life from Ali such as, `Stay focused on the task` and `do not worry about the outside noise`, the report added.
