Jerusalem: An avowed tennis lover, External Affairs Minister S M Krishna was today presented with, what he called a "very thoughtful" gift, by his Israeli counterpart a tennis racket signed by top players of the country.
A souvenir associated with Krishna`s favourite sport will certainly be a memorable one for the minister, who also loves to play the game.
"Very thoughtful of you," said a beaming Krishna, as he received the `Prince` racket from his Israeli counterpart Avigdor Lieberman today.
The racket has been signed by members of the Israeli tennis team, including Shahar Peer, who has in the past also partnered Indian tennis player Sania Mirza.
Peer has been ranked as high as 16 in ATP rankings. Krishna is an avid tennis player and never misses an opportunity to watch the Wimbledon.
