New Delhi: Sachin Tendulkar may not have his Ferrari 360 Modena with him now but that does not seem to repress the cricketing legend to relish the thrill of speed. According to media reports, Sachin could invest in an IPL modeled racing league in India.
The Indian Racing League (IRL) is being launched by Machdar Ventures and it is believed that Sheikh Al Maktoum of Dubai is one of the major investors in the league.
Sachin and US-based Anjana Reddy are in talks to take near about 26% stake in the league.
Interestingly, Sheikh Al Maktoum of Dubai had had started the A1 Grand Prix two years back. The league could follow the franchise system of IPL with races being held at the particular cities. Talks about races at Dubai, Thailand are also being carried out.
