The wickets fell in quick succession post lunch. Nurse and Johnson were sent back to the pavilion without opening their accounts, while Cummins could manage only a boundary off four balls.

India A is inches closer to victory. The vistors were reduced to 199/5, despite Narasingh Deonaraine's unbeaten knock of 83 at lunch. He added 82-run partnership for the fourth wicket with Assad Fudadin (49) and prevented India A from wrapping up the match before lunch. Deonaraine has cracked 12 boundaries in his innings.

The duo had been frustrating the Indians, but soon after Cheteshwear inroduced leading wicket-taker of the first innings Abhishek Nayar. The much required breakthrough was obtained by sending back Fudadin for 49. Nayar
celebrated his second wicket by cleaning up promising batsman Jonathan Carter for 12 off 17 balls.

At lunch, Nikita Miller (7) was batting alongside Deonaraine and the duo had put on 34 runs partnership for the sixth wicket.

West Indies A trail by 180 runs with 7 wickets remaining

INDIA A Overs:150||Score: 564/9

India A declared their first innings after posting 564/9 on day 2 of the third and final unofficial Test against West Indies. They have a lead of 296 runs. Their skipper Cheteshwar Pujara slammed a triple century and returned unbeaten on 306*(415b, 4X33). Uday Kaul was the sixth wicket to fall after being caught by Walton off Nurse. He scored 26 (68b, 4X1). Dhawal Kulkarni was the next batsman to depart without making any significant contribution to the total. Zaheer Khan struck two sixes and a boundary in just 18 deliveries to score 19 runs. However, he was caught by Powell becoming Nurse’s second victim. His third victim was Bhargav Bhatt who was bowled. He went back without disturbing the scoreboard.
