Ranji Trophy 2012-13: Delhi, Baroda share one point each after dull draw

Veteran Rajat Bhatia score an excellent unbeaten 133 to ensure that Delhi did not get out in their first innings against Baroda which gave both the teams one point each after the match ended in a dull draw.

Ranji Trophy 2012-13: Delhi must score 347 runs on final day for 3 points

Mohit Sharma and Unmukt Chand made half-centuries as Delhi scored 215/3 in their first innings at the end of day 3 in reply to Baroda`s first total of 561 all out. They need 347 on the last day to take the first innings lead and bag 3 points which seemed unlikely after they lost 3 wickets.

Hosts Delhi will like to consolidate their position in Group B as they take on a depleted Baroda side in the third round Ranji Trophy encounter at the Feroz Shah Kotla from Saturday.

A fiery spell by speedster Parvinder Awana (5/52) and an equally impressive effort from the seasoned Ashish Nehra (3/61) saw Delhi register their first outright win in this year`s Ranji Trophy beating Baroda by 10 wickets.
