New Delhi: A confident Novak Djokovic has said that winning all four Grand Slam tournaments in a calendar year is a possibility, after winning the French Open.
The World Number one on Sunday came from a set down to beat Andy Murray to with the Roland Garros event at 12th attempt, and in the process he completed "Novak Slam".
He is the current holder of all the Major trophies, an unique feat last achieved by Don Budge, in 1938, and Rod Laver, in 1962 and 1969.
After his 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 win over Murray, the Serbian said "Well, I don`t want to sound arrogant, but I really think everything is achievable in life."
"You know, winning this trophy today gave me so much happiness and fulfilment. I`m trying to grasp and I`m trying to cherish, obviously, these moments right now. Whether or not I can reach a calendar slam, that`s still a possibility," he added.
The 29-year-old has 12 Grand Slam titles, and within five of Roger Federer`s record of 17 while he is just two off the 14 held by Rafael Nadal and Pete Sampras.
The next Slam event is Wimbledon, where he has won three times. The grass court tournament starts later this month.
