Andy Murray`s Munich quarter postponed by rain

Munich: Andy Murray`s Munich Open quarter-final against Lukas Rosol will take place on Saturday after persistent rain played havoc with Friday`s schedule, organisers announced.

Roberto Bautista Agut`s last eight clash with Victor Estrella Burgos has also had to be postponed 24 hours.

Organisers are still hoping the rain will relent to allow the quarter-finals from the second half of the draw - Dominic Thiem v Gerald Melze and Philipp Kohlschreiber v David Goffin - to go ahead as planned.

Murray eased into the quarters with a straight sets win over qualifier Mischa Zverev on Thursday.

The top seed should face a tougher test as he builds up to the French Open against Czech Rosol, the world number 41 who saw off Sergiy Stakhovsky also in straight sets in his second-round match.
