Djokovic backs new coach Becker to boost him back to No.1 status
London: Serbian tennis ace Novak Djokovic has said that he is hoping his new coach Boris Becker can bring back the necessary mental edge to his game to take him to the top position in the world rankings again.

The world number two, who is aiming for his fourth consecutive victory at the Australian Open , will play in his first event with the German legend after his surprise appointment last month

According to the Mirror, Djokovic, who has already won six Majors, said that he is honoured to have Becker in his team as his head coach, adding that he hopes that Becker can bring the necessary mental edge as he recognises the situations, pressures and expectations that a top player faces, especially during Grand Slams.

Djokovic also said that he and Becker would work mostly on improving that particular aspect of his game, along with a few other elements.
