New Delhi: Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her Swiss partner Martina Hingis have become a force to reckon with in women's tennis as a pair and players need to pull off something spectacular to end their winning streak.

The top-ranked women’s doubles pair beat Lyudmyla and Nadiia Kichenok in straight sets 6-2, 6-3, in Australian Open 2016 to continue their unstoppable run.

With that win, the Indo-Swiss pair have extended their winning streak to 32, which is 13 wins short of breaking the world record.

Back in 1990, the dynamic Czech pair of Jana Novotna and Helena Sukova won a whopping 44 matches in a row.

Mirza and Hingis won Wimbledon and the US Open since they came together as doubles partners last year in addition to their immense success on the WTA circuit.

Since the beginning of 2015, Mirza and Hingis have won 10 WTA doubles titles together — Indian Wells, Miami, Charleston, Wimbledon, US Open, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Beijing and WTA Finals in 2015, and last week’s Brisbane International.
