Valencia (Spain): The tennis duo comprising Rohan Bopanna of India and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan has advanced into the quarterfinals of the ATP World Tour Championship men`s doubles event in Valencia, Spain.
Bopanna and Qureshi defeated the pair of Jaun Monaco of Argentina and Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay 7-6, 4-6, 14-12 in one hour and 35 minutes in their pre quarterfinal match, the News reports.
The `Indo-Pak Express` will now face the all-Spanish duo of Marc Lopez and Davis Marreo in the last eight.
A good showing in Valencia could help Aisam and Rohan finish among the world`s top eight doubles team this year and help them make the cut for the year-end Masters in London next month.
The pair had progressed to the quarterfinals of the ATP Kremlin Cup last month, where they were defeated by Janko Tipsarevic and Viktor Troicki.
