In a day of the US brigade, Raveena Kingsley ended the dream run of unseeded Ojasvinee Singh the sole Indian in the fray for the girls singles title, her second successive after the Grade 2 in Delhi. Having won the doubles with Turkic Isa Mammetgulyyev yesterday, there was no stopping for the fifth seed in the singles as he took just 75 minutes to overpower Mandresy Rakotomalala of France 6-4 6-1. Sameer got richer by 60 ITF Junior Ranking points. Ojasvinee however gave Raveena a stiff challenge levelling the proceedings but could not survive till the end to go down in a two hour and 24 minutes battle as the American 16-year-old won by 6-4 4-6 6-3.
