Gilani congratulates Indo-Pak express after Paris triumph

Islamabad: Pakistan`s Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani congratulated tennis stars Aisam-ul-Haq and his Indian partner Rohan Bopanna for lifting the ATP Masters Title in Paris on Sunday.

In his message, the Prime Minister appreciated the superb performance and excellent sportsman spirit exhibited by both players throughout the tournament, which brought victory in the final.

Gilani said that the whole nation was proud of this inspiring achievement.

The seventh seeded Indo-Pak pair took just 65 minutes to defeat French wild cards Julien Benneteau and Nicolas Mahut 6-2 6-4 and pocket their third title of the season.

They had won the Gerry Weber Open at Halle and the Stockholm Open before this event.
