New Delhi: American tennis coach Nick Bollettieri has said that if he was Novak Djokovic, he would let Swiss legend Roger Federer win one more Grand Slam title.
“If I were Djokovic and played against Federer I would have let him win one,” Bollettieri said, reports Tennis World USA. “Federer is so important for the sport, he respects the opponent, the family, helps his foundation.”
In the first major of the year, Federer looked in fine form before he was ousted in the semis by Djokovic.
Djokovic has defeated Federer in their last three finals meetings, which has extended the Swiss' wait for an 18th Grand Slam title.
The 37-year-old last won a Grand Slam title in 2012 when he defeated Britain's Andy Murray in the Wimbledon final.
