IPTL: Novak Djokovic vs Roger Federer – Match of the tournament

New Delhi: On the third and the final day of the International Premier Tennis League (IPTL), while several matches would be played, crowd is expected to turn up in large numbers to watch the men’s singles match between Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. While one of them is one of the greatest tennis players of all-time, the other is the World No. 1 and an extremely popular player in India.

Federer, who is leading the Indian aces, played some quality tennis for his side Indian Aces on Day 2. The Swiss legend played mixed doubles and men’s doubles with Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna respectively, before showing his sheer class against Tomar Berdych in their men’s singles encounter. Djokovic didn’t have a great start to the tournament, where pairing with Nenad Zimonjic in the men’s doubles against Tsonga and Daniel Nestor, he lost the match 6-5. Both the stars missed the action on Day 1 of the tournament where fans thronged at the stadium anticipating a glimpse of their superstars. The Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium is expected to be jam-packed on the third day, where these two stars are all set to clash against each other, in the much-awaited contest.
