New Delhi: 17-time Grand Slam singles champion Roger Federer finally arrived in the capital on Friday. The International Tennis Premier League is scheduled to be held here from 6-8 December. Roger Federer is part of the Indian Aces team which includes the likes of Gael Monfils, Ana Ivanovic and Sania Mirza.
The 33-year-old said that the capital has no idea how excited he is to come and play in India. The Swiss international expressed his views on social micro-blogging site Twitter.

The first two legs of the IPTL have been already played in Manila and Singapore respectively, with India and UAE being the other two venues. The fun filled tournament with short duration matches have already got tennis fans excited all around.
With the tickets already being sold off like hot cakes, the newly renovated Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, will present an amazing atmosphere with the fans getting to watch Federer playing alongside other past and modern greats of Tennis.
Federer hasn't yet featured for the Indian Aces who currently lead the standing in the points table with 20 points. It will be a major boost for the side to have the experience of Federer who could help them retain their top position in the league ahead of the final leg tie in Dubai.
