London: Former US tennis star Jennifer Capriati has been accused of assaulting her ex-boyfriend in a gym.
Ivan Brannan, 28, claims that she punched him in the chest several times during a row before a yoga instructor intervened, the Mirror reported.
He then ran to the locker room to call police.
Capriati, 36, left the gym in Palm Beach, Florida, in her car before officers arrived.
Capriati`s spokeswoman denied reports a warrant had been issued for her arrest.
"What happened has been over-exaggerated. When the full story comes out Jennifer will be vindicated of these charges," the rep said.
Last year, Brannan tried to obtain a -restraining order against Capriati, claiming she had called his work more than 100 times in a day, but his request was denied.
