Paris: Australian Open finalist Li Na advanced to the semifinals of the French Open by defeating fourth-seeded Victoria Azarenka of Belarus 7-5, 6-2.
Li was the first Chinese player to reach a Grand Slam final at the Australian Open.Azarenka entered Wednesday`s match without having lost a set in her four previous matches at this year`s French Open. But she fell to 0-4 in Grand Slam quarterfinals.
