London: Wimbledon champion Andy Murray`s attempt to prank everyone reportedly went unnoticed as he placed his April Fools` joke very carefully.

Everyone reportedly missed the joke, as it was so carefully placed, making everyone think that the actual scam was Murray`s announcement about his hotel. According to the Independent, the real quip about Murray`s joke was far less obvious as the Wimbledon champion has really just opened a 15-bedroom Victorian building Cromlix, three miles from his hometown Dunblane in Scotland. The bottom-line of the April Fools` joke was that Murray did not announce a new tennis coach, the report added. The Scot`s attempt at humour reportedly fell on deaf ears again, as he used his split from his long-time coach Ivan Lendl a few weeks ago, which no doubt served as the context from his quip. However, Murray did not give any punchline behind his attempt at humour, which saw just a few gullible tweeters and confused looking sports journalists, the report added.
