Murray wants to ‘wage war’ with pal Djokovic in Oz Open
London: Andy Murray wants to play another match with his pal Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open Final.

Coach Ivan Lendl said that the ‘two 25-year-olds can form the next great rivalry at the top of men’s tennis’, and when they play it is like a ‘war’.

According to the Mirror, the World No.1 beat the British No.1 during a five-hour semi-final match in Melbourne last year.

Murray will be starting his Australian Open campaign against Dutchman Robin Haase on Tuesday.

He said that playing against Novak is like incredibly tough, but then get on well.

He added that the two have played quite a few good matches last year in some of the biggest events.

Djokovic is bidding to become the first player in the Open era to win three successive titles at the Australian Open.

Victory for Murray will give him the chance to overtake Roger Federer as World No.2 next month.

Djokovic believes Murray is now a more formidable opponent after his golden summer, the report added.
