Montreal: World number one Novak Djokovic was bothered by the smell of marijuana smoke Saturday as he advanced to the final of the ATP Rogers Cup by defeating France`s Jeremy Chardy.
During his 6-4, 6-4 victory, Djokovic complained to the umpire about the smell of marijuana smoke.
After the match he addressed the issue, which he said had distracted him in a prior match as well.
"Oh my God," Djokovic said. "You can`t believe how bad it was.
"Whoever it is, he`s pretty high and I hope he doesn`t come back tomorrow. Because it`s a pretty bad smell. I didn`t enjoy it much."
Djokovic improved to 10-0 for his career against Chardy with his 80-minute victory.
