London: Novak Djokovic will not play for Serbia in the Davis Cup quarter-final against Andy Murray`s Great Britain after crashing out of Wimbledon on Saturday.

World number one Djokovic suffered his earliest Grand Slam exit since 2009 when he lost in the third round to Sam Querrey 7-6 (8/6), 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (7/5) at the All England Club.

It ended his 30-match win streak in the majors as well as his hopes of going on to complete the first calendar Grand Slam since 1969.

The 29-year-old said he "wasn`t 100%" and would not lead Serbia against the defending Davis Cup champions in Belgrade from July 15-17.

"No, I`m not going to play Davis Cup," he said when asked about his plans.
