The top seeds were looking to win all four Grand Slam women`s doubles titles.
New Delhi: Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza and her doubles partner Martina Hingis crashed out of 2016 French Open to end their Slam dreams on Sunday at Roland Garros.
The top seeds were looking to win all four Grand Slam women`s doubles titles, but suffered a shock 6-3, 6-2 loss to Czech pair Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova in the third round.
The match lasted just over an hour with the Indo-Swiss pair losing three and four serves in the 1st and 2nd sets respectively.
Not a single team has managed to hold all four majors simultaneously since Serena and Venus Williams in 2010.
