Somdev Devvarman out of Mason Masters

Mason: Somdev Devvarman bowed out of
the ATP Western and Southern Financial Group Masters after
losing a three-set thriller against Robby Ginepri here.

The Indian qualifier lost 7-6 (3), 6-7 (4), 2-6 to the
local wild card in a gruelling two-hour-and-34 minute first
round match of the USD 24,30,000 hard court event.

This is for the second time in a row that Somdev has lost
in the first round of an ATP Masters series event.

to the second round of the doubles event with their respective
partners after getting a bye in the first round.
