These photos reveal why Roger Federer is happy despite not playing the US Open

New Delhi: Tennis legend Roger Federer is currently recovering from a knee injury and won't be playing competitive tennis until next year.

It is unusual not seeing the Swiss maestro on court in some of the biggest tennis tournaments, including the ongoing US Open.

While tennis fans continue to miss Federer, the 35-year-old posted a series of photos on Twitter that showed he isn't all that disappointed with his injury.

Ideally, Fedex would have loved to compete against his rivals Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal at Flushing Meadows, but he is making the most of his time on the sidelines.
