Sania Mirza labels Leander Paes a TOXIC PERSON, slams his tirade against India's Olympics team selection

New Delhi: Hours after Leander Paes questioned India's team selection at the last two Olympics, Sania Mirza on Sunday slammed him, saying 'karma is watching'.

Mirza took to Twitter to express her disapproval of Paes' latest comments, which certainly has become yet another round of controversy in Indian tennis.

India's tennis team selection has become a headache of late for AITA with star players going by their own individual wisdom and indulging in mud-slinging.

Yesterday, after losing his doubles rubber with Saketh Myneni to Rafael Nadal and Marc Lopez of Spain in the Davis Cup World Group play-off, Paes slammed AITA for sending Mira and Rohan Bopanna for Mixed Doubles event at Rio Olympics.

And Bopanna, who pulled out of the crucial Davis Cup tie against Spain due to a knee injury, opted to retweet Mirza's comment, and thus putting meaning to the women's doubles world number one.

At the press conference, Paes said, "I can very clearly say that in this Olympics and last Olympics we didn't put the best team forward. This Olympics the mixed doubles was a great opportunity. What more does a man need to do than win four Grand Slams in 14 months? There were no more tournaments to win, I could not create anymore tournaments. Sad."
