New Delhi: Man-mountain Milos Raonic on Friday produced the fastest serve ever recorded on hallowed All England Club grass in 2016.

The sixth seed Canadian, who stands 6ft 5in tall, clocked 144mph (231.7km/h) in his Wimbledon semi-final against Roger Federer.

The big serving 25-year-old unleashed the rocket in the first set on Centre Court against the seven-time champion.

Australia`s Sam Groth holds the record for the fastest serve ever hit, clocking 163 mph (263.4km/h) at a second-tier Challenger event in Busan, South Korea in May 2012.
