Djokovic and Murray have been playing since they were kids and here they are, once again in a Grand Slam final – a tournament which is considered to be the pinnacle of the sport.

====================================================================================

After a series of major upsets in the tournament, we are all set for a thrilling finale between the top two seeded players - Novak Djokovic vs Andy Murray. Times have changed, and the tennis fraternity is now used to watching these two play in Grand Slam finals. The Wimbledon 2013 final is their fourth appearance against each other in a major final, three of which have been won by Djokovic while Murray won his maiden Grand Slam title against Djokovic at the US Open last year.

It is an extremely important match for Andy Murray. He has reached the Wimbledon final for the second time in a row, and we all remember his words after he suffered defeat at the hands of the legendary Roger Federer last year. But since then, Murray has shown significant improvement in his game as he won US Open against Djokovic and he now has something which even Roger Federer doesn’t- an Olympic gold medal. Britain is once again expecting their local hero to end their 77-year-wait for a Wimbledon title. And this could be the day for the brave Briton.

But it isn’t going to be easy as he is up against a man who has been the most prolific tennis player over the last few years. The relentless Novak Djokovic who battled past del Potro in another epic thrilling five-setter in semis, is seeking his second Wimbledon title. While some of the best players were knocked early in the tournament, Djokovic was at his usual best and there is no reason why he can extend Britain’s wait for a Wimbledon title.
