The tournament is at its business end now. Here are some of the important results from Day 8 of the championships.

# Leander Paes (India) and his doubles partner Radek Stepanek (Czech Republic) defeated Julien Benneteau (France) and Nenad Zimonjic (Serbia) to move to the semis.

Scoreline: 4-6, 6-4, 6-3, 6-4

# Kirsten Flipkens of Belgium came back from a set down to stun 2011 champion Petra Kvitova of Czech Republic to set up semi-final clash with Bartoli.

Scoreline: 4-6, 6-3, 6-4

# Some good news for Indian fans as Rohan Bopanna along with his doubles partner Edouard Roger-Vasselin of France has reached the semi-finals beating Robert Lindstedt (Sweden) and Daniel Nestor (Canada).

Scoreline: 7-5, 7-6(3), 6-7(4), 6-7(3), 6-2

# Marion Bartoli of France advances to semi-finals with a straight set win over Sloane Stephens of USA.

Scoreline: 6-4, 7-5

# Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland has moved to the last-four beating Li Na of China.

Scoreline: 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-2

# Bruno Soares (Brazil) and Lisa Raymond (USA) beat Filip Polasek (Slovakia) and Janette Husarova (Slovakia) to move to third round of mixed doubles event.

Scoreline: 6-2, 6-3

#James Blake (USA) and Jurgen Melzer (Austria) have beaten Juan-Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah of Colombia in the men’s doubles third round.

Scoreline: 6-2, 6-4, 6-3

#Marcin Matkowski (Poland) and Kveta Peschke (Czech Republic) overcome Andy Ram (Israel) and Abigail Spears (USA) in the mixed doubles second round.

Scoreline: 7-5, 7-5

#Sabine Lisicki of Germany has beaten Kaia Kanepi of Estonia to move to the semi-final of the singles event.

Scoreline: 6-3, 6-3

#Julia Goerges of Germany and Barbora Zahlavova Strycova of Czech Republic have defeated Sara Errani and Roberta Vinci of Italy in the third round.

Scoreline: 3-6, 6-3, 6-2

#Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka of Czech Republic have defeated Silvia Soler-Espinosa and Carla Suarez Navarro in the third round of women’s doubles event.

Scoreline: 6-4, 6-3
