Mumbai: When it comes to making news, Himesh Reshammiya is known for outrageous antics in his desperate bid to grab the arc lights. The singer cum actor, who creates more flutter by experimenting with his looks, and has repeatedly resorted to hair transplants, has now beaten his own wacky record. Vying to fulfill his perfection-seeking syndrome, the singer, this time round, has undergone a vocal surgery. And for those who feel that the vocal surgery was much needed, considering his nasal twang, there is news. Apparently, the crooner had a surgery not for getting rid of his nasal voice but to add one more voice becoming the sole singer to have two different voices. According to the latest Bollywood news, Himesh went under the knife months back in South Africa where he was shooting for his film ‘Kajraare’. His new voice will be heard in his forthcoming films. Confirming the news, a daily quoted a source as saying, “Himesh wanted to do something different and after numerous experiments with his looks and his hair, he recently had an operation for his vocal chords. Apart from his nasal voice, he has now added a different voice, which is a base middle octave. This way, he will have two distinct voices and anybody who identifies him with his style will never be able to say that the other voice is also his. It is a closely guarded secret and Himesh doesn’t want anyone to know about it.” The source further adds, "The voice is extremely good and the songs that he has recorded are sure to work with his fans.” Well, only time will tell how good the new voice is.
