Imphal: Two candidates Thursday filed nomination papers for the January-28 Manipur Assembly polls, election office said.

President of the Manipur Democratic Front G Tonsana and a CPI nominee filed documents from Heingang in Imphal East district and Patsoi in Imphal West district respectively.
