Azamgarh: Samajwadi Party state President Akhilesh Yadav on Monday said if his party succeeded in forming the next government SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav would become the Chief Minister.

"Mulayam Singh is the first choice of party MLAs, MPs and senior party office bearers. He has experience of running the government and he will be the CM, if party is voted to power", Akhilesh said in reply to a question.

Asked about the absence of film stars in the party's campaign in the coming elections, Akhilesh said party leaders and workers were not less than stars.
