Kanpur: Slamming Baba Ramdev, Union Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal has said that the yoga guru was not a saint but a politician whose objective was to play politics.

"This is clear that Ramdev is not a (Baba) saint, he is a politician whose objective is to play politics. If his supporters are disrupting the rally of Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi then I think supporters of Ramdev will get disappointed of this," Jaiswal told media here.

Two young protesters waved black flags to Rahul Gandhi and shouted slogans against corruption during an election rally in Uttar Pradesh''s Sonbhadra district on Saturday.

Police detained the duo, who are said to be supporters of Baba Ramdev.

I am the follower of Baba Ramdev, neither against of any political party. Truth can`t be changed by acuusing someone.Today all Indians are concerned about their health, because of Baba Ramdev`s yoga and his education. There were so many saints doing yoga, did any intruduce to local public, Nope. If he wants to do something for the country whether to bring back black money, or give good health or teach people to stay away from intoxication. I dont find anything wrong in it. Atleast he is doing something good, where ordinaray person doesnt have time to get out of his own selfishness. I know so many people are against Baba Ramdev, but sure they cant do any harm. Truth will remain truth. Whole world specially Indians owe him what he taugh them.

This Mr.Jaiswal seems to have short memory about the Jun 4th incident in Delhi where govt cheated Baba and crores of Indians on the issue of corruption (recently along with Hazare). When they brutally did things to women and children starving for two days on mid night they do not find any wrong (as-hles), but when someone democratically show their protest to Rahul and asked his views(if he has any) on corruption then it becomes politics. Even Babaji has his rastra dharma coming before his sanyas dharm ( for ages in India) and not only his followers but he himself has the right to show his discontent through all peaceful and democratic means. I was surprised that Prince could not even answer the question staright and opted to leave the rally( will he do the same if God forbid becomes PM). Including the whole Gandhi dynasty no one did some much service to country as baba ji in motivating people for health and self respect and fight against corruption. My dear minister please remember when we die nothing comes along with us except our good or evil. Please wake up at this decisive moment for the country. Baba himself clearly told that he will neither contest nor take any position in politics and ready to give credit to Congress if it tackles black money issue seriously.
