Lucknow: Chief Electoral Officer of Uttar Pradesh on Thursday said that a report would be sought on the alleged provoking statement of international working president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Pravin Togadia.

"A report would be sought from the district electoral officer of Lucknow," CEO Umesh Sinha told reporters in a reply to a question.

During a press conference here, Togadia allegedly made some provoking and derogatory remark. Some provoking posters were also put up in the hall where Togadia held the press meet.
