Jaunpur: A Samtamoolak Party candidate contesting from Shahganj Assembly seat for the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections has allegedly been abducted from Pakkanpur area here, police said on Monday.

Vivek Yadav alias Vikky had left his home at about 8 pm last night for campaigning, they said, adding that the car in which he was travelling has been recovered.
